END OF WINDOWS XP- A Biz Catastrophe for Procrastinators but 2.2 Million BANKS Just Don't Care

1 month after the official shut-off day, many of our friends and clients are now just beginning to notice the news about their technology- namely when Bill Gates turned off XP support for good. This uncovered over 300 MILLION users worldwide are still addicted to it regardless of the security and functionality problems it faces. (CNET reports 37% of PC users globally).

Blame it on force of habit or maybe they are just too cheap to upgrade, but there are so many options since XP that gave us all far more robust solutions- like Windows 2000, ME, Vista, Win7 and 8.  Let's not even get into APPLE. But I can't even imagine surfing the internet on something that slow. When HIPAA announced that it was a violation to use XP, this prompted private practices to mobilize and toss out their old clunkers.  But what can motivate the 2.2 Million BANKS (who are still using WinXP) for their ATM's?

Securitywise, that's asking for problems.
